Der Musikologe Antonino Titone bezeichnete diese Oper als eine \u201cteuflische Maschine, die im Leerlauf dahinrast\u201d. Erinnert uns eine solche Formulierung nicht an \u2026 unseren gegenw\u00e4rtigen Weltzustand? Inspiriert durch die Arbeit von Jakob L. Moreno erm\u00f6glicht die Interaktion des Publikums \u00fcber Poetik und \u00c4sthetik ein individuelles Bezugnehmen der Anwesenden aufeinander und auf das Thema des St\u00fccks.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desi studiert<\/span>e an der Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik in Wien, war Musikalischer Leiter des Orchesters der Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde Wien, der Company \u201cTotales Theater Wien\u201d, von ensemble KlangArten, sowie k\u00fcnstlerischer Leiter der Gruppe ZOON. Sein Buch \u201cThe New Music Theatre\u201d, zusammen mit Eric Salzman, wurde zu einem Standardwerk \u00fcber das Neue Musiktheater.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das Projekt \u201eTarkovski. Der achte Film\u201c war f\u00fcr den Fedora Opera Prize nominiert. Von den Gezeiten der Zeitl\u00e4ufte verwischt zur Tabula rasa: Nichts bleibt. Ein Schmetterling hinterl\u00e4sst keine Spuren. Aus der Larve verwandelte sich der Organismus in ein anderes flatterndes Wesen.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unsere Kultur aber hat aus dem Ephemeren ein &#8211; zumindest vor\u00fcbergehend &#8211; Bleibendes gemacht. Wir nennen es \u201cKulturelles Erbe\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diese Spuren auf Papier, auf Schellack, Vinyl &#8211; als Bits und Bytes in Speichermedien. Digitale Spuren, virtuelle Spuren, die wir ohne Ger\u00e4te nicht mehr erkennen k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spuren f\u00fchren aus Prinzip immer in die vergangene Geschichte zur\u00fcck. Doch die Kunst: Ich behaupte, die Spuren, denen wir in der Kunst folgen, kommen aus der Zukunft auf uns zu!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Zukunft zu kennen ist unm\u00f6glich. Die Quantenphysik lehrt uns, dass es keinen Determinismus gibt. Es <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kann sein<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, dass der Fl\u00fcgelschlag des Schmetterlings zu einem Tornado in der Zukunft f\u00fchren wird, doch es dies <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nur<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">eine<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00f6glichkeit<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Jedes noch so kleine Teilchen, jedes Detail in unserem Leben, birgt eine unvorhersagbare zuk\u00fcnftige Spur in sich. In \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Butterfly Equation<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d f\u00fchrt die Notation meiner Musik in die Zukunft, denn nicht alles darin ist genau vorbestimmt. Je weiter das St\u00fcck \u201cvorangeht\u201d im zweiten Akt, um so mehr M\u00f6glichkeiten haben die Mitwirkenden, spontan im Moment zu handeln. Eine Wiederholbarkeit wird damit zunehmend unm\u00f6glich. Die Spuren, die hier in die Zukunft f\u00fchren, werden sporadisch, werden zu Anhaltspunkten, springen von Ort zu Ort, bis sie im unendlichen Horizont unseren Ertwartungen sich entziehen. Nichts ist abgeschlossen, neue Schritte folgen, hinterlassen neue Spuren.
