ORLANDO TRIP is a filmic musical performance about the mythical figure Orlando and a tribute to the great European spirits Lodovico Ariosto and Virginia Woolf. Orlando, knight, traveller and ambassador, crosses the seas several times and finally returns as a masterful and nomadic conqueror of rigid borders. His/her story is told in 12 songs, intermezzi and videos.
ORLANDO TRIP is simultaneously a spoken performance, a concert and a frenzy of images. Fox On Ice creates the suggestion of an effortless transition between stage and film, man and landscape, man and woman and provides an international audience with sensual access to a European myth about fluidity and the feminine art of transformation. A (Mediterranean) sea story that will delight cineastes, music lovers and literature enthusiasts alike.

Anna Luca Poloni (aka Anna L. Krassnigg) is a performer, author and theatre maker. Numerous productions for Staatstheater Braunschweig, Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, Schauspiel Dortmund, Theaterhaus Gessner Allee Zürich, Grand Théâtre Luxemburg, Schauspielhaus Wien, Theater in der Josefstadt, Festspiele Reichenau, Wiener Festwochen etc. Developed numerous inter-creative events in the field of performing arts. University professor for directing at the Max Reinhardt Seminar Vienna. Founder and artistic director of wortwiege.
Christian Maïr is a composer, musician, visual artist, theatre and film producer. Artistic work at the Schauspielhaus Vienna, Theater in der Josefstadt Vienna, Théâtre National du Luxembourg, Grand Théâtre Luxembourg, Capucin Theatre Luxembourg, Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, Festspiele Reichenau, Schauspiel Dortmund, Metro Kinokulturhaus Vienna, Kulturhauptstadt Linz09, Wiener Festwochen. Founder and managing director of wortwiege.
Fox On Ice is the joint project of Anna Luca Poloni and Christian Maïr at the inter-creative interface between music, literature, film and theatre and deals with narratives of transformation through feminine and fluid perspectives and strategies.
