The AUSTRIAN MUSIC THEATRE DAY was launched in 2015 as part of the MUSIC THEATRE DAYS VIENNA and has been organised in cooperation with mica - music austria/Austrian Music Export since 2018. The AMD offers space for professional exchange with national and international organisers:insiden and for the presentation of works and projects by artists based in Austria:.
Austrian Music Theatre Day 2025
In co-operation with mica - music austria / Austrian Music Export, this conference offers domestic Networking opportunities for music theatre professionals and professional exchange with national and international organisers. In 2025, the theme will be Inclusion takes centre stage, with a special focus on Deafness. In addition to accessibility issues and new additions in terms of personnel andlevel, there is also a discussion about how music theatre can be artistically designed in such a way thatloose people both in the audience and on the actively participate on stage and share their perspectives can contribute to the cultural sector.
