A late night performance for insomniacs
Wide awake stuttering thought loops, sleep-wake rhythms out of sync, noisy brooding loops, restless legs, unbearable silence and no stop button: in this late night concert performance, the audience will be guided through various states of insomnia.
Between acoustic experiment, punk concert and live art, the mostly solitary experience of insomnia is translated into a concert of joint and collective restlessness. In use: a bent clothes horse, a concert grand piano, five megaphones, fluorescent material, a '90s drum computer, sand, 200 spoons of sweet, gentle sleeping juice, raspberry red.
In OHNE NACHT. KEIN TAG, pianist and performer Clara Frühstück and performance artist/musician Sylvi Kretzschmar develop elements from the play VERSAMMLUNG DER SCHLAFLOSEN (premiere 2024 in collaboration with Maja Osojnik). Visual artist and musician Samuel Schaab designs the space, light and electronics.
