The MUSIKTHEATERTAGE WIEN are a festival for contemporary music theatre
The festival takes place annually in September and offers ambitious and forward-looking in-house, guest and co-productions. It uses the possibilities of contemporary music theatre to create an unconventional approach to relevant topics. As an international festival for new music theatre, it commissions and creates new projects and connects the national with the international scene.
These were the MUSIC THEATRE DAYS VIENNA 2024
From the 18. until 28 September 2024 the latest works of music theatre were presented at 10 different venues such as the Odeon, WUK, Theater am Werk and Reaktor, as well as in unusual locations such as Schloss Neugebäude and Yppenplatz. The programme focused on the ecological future and the active participation of the audience.
